APGA, THE SOLUTION: THE BUHARI THISDAY/ARISE TV INTERVIEW - A CONCISE APGA PERSPECTIVE.

Many unbiased and non-partisan persons seem to be in agreement that President Mohammadu Buhari was very candid and straight forward while fielding questions in his latest exclusive interview he granted Thisday/Arise Television.

Notwithstanding that he spoke on a myriad of burning issues concerning Security, Economy and Political issues, the President, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, appears to have come to HIS WITS END ON HOW TO DEFEAT THE BOKO HARAM INSURGENCY and also contain the obviously malignant Herdsmen-Farmer clashes, especially in Northern Nigeria.

Even though President Buhari feels that it is proper to re-enact the farmers-herders type of cordial relationship which existed in the colonial days and Nigeria's First Republic, he showed understandable reluctance towards adopting the "FOREIGN MILITARY CONTRACTORS or MERCENARIES MODEL" BEING CHAMPIONED IN THIS ELECTIONEERING PERIOD BY THE VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF THE ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE, APGA, CHIEF JERRY CHUKWUEKE. The question was actually put to President Buhari during the interview by the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Thisday/Arise TV media conglomerate, Chief Nduka Obaigbena. Although President Buhari grudgingly said he might consider the option as a last resort, his dilemma is doubtlessly informed by the fact that he is a retired general, who would invariably feel defeated or have a sense of abdication if such option is embraced. Buhari remains the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces today.

According to the Vice Presidential candidate of APGA, Chief Jerry Chukwueke, in reference to the above assertion of President Buhari , the APGA led government and its progressive agenda advocates that we must invest massively in ranches in the north and grow the agricultural value chain so that, we can create room for employment.
The APGA led government on the other hand, maintains on huge investment in water irrigation schemes in the north in order to fight desert encroachment and create more green vegetation for Animal husbandry in the north.

Be that as it may, and despite its implications the Mercenaries or Military Contractors Option  to  contain the Boko Haram insurgency as opined by the Vice Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance ,Chief Jerry Chukwueke is worth considering for return of enduring peace to the Northeast zone of the country.

Another issue  which among others came up in the interview is the raging wage palaver for workers in Nigeria. For President Buhari, it makes little sense for civil and public servants the country to be demanding for thirty thousands naira minimum wage when many state governments are finding it extremely difficult or almost impossible to pay the current minimum wage of eighteen thousand naira.

Besides the uncompromising and comprehensive Agenda of APGA to Restructure the Nigerian federation, the party maintains that apart from its FIVE COVENANTS WITH NIGERIANS, it would drastically REDUCE THE COST OF GOVERNANCE IN THE COUNTRY AND PLOUGH BACK MONEY TO BE SAVED FROM THE EXERCISE INTO IMPROVING AND PROVIDING BASIC INFRASTRUCTURES FOR THE WELFARE OF THE NIGERIAN MASSES.

Explaining further , Chukwueke opined that a 5% minimum reduction in the cost of governance per year, and deploying the savings to pay 30,000naira minimum wage and fund other critical infrastructures as part of our wealth redistribution strategy.

Therefore, if the electorate truly  want a sustainable paradigm shift (because apc and PDP are two sides of the same coin), and genuine egalitarian society, they should massively vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the February and March general elections in Nigeria.

In conclusion, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, believes strongly that it is clear that the only direction we must take, bearing in mind the post oil economy that is eminent is to evolve geo economic entities that are viable, sustainable and competitive so that each economic entity can focus on doing what they do best as well as creating millions of jobs and fight poverty.

Fiscal Restructuring is the only answer.
