It is now an open secret that the present ruling party in the country, the All Progressives Congress, APC and the one it dislodged from the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja in the 2015 general elections, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, are stinkingly corrupt. Evidences supporting this assertion are legion and Nigerians are seeing them. From their own mouths the culprits are confessing, save that they accuse each other of being more corrupt than the other.nBoth parties are clearly not denying being fantastically corrupt!

Notwithstanding that nobody has been able to publicly link President Mohammadu Buhari directly to any graft, he has nonetheless been variously accused of not being harsh to his relatives and close associates suspected to be deeply involved in monumental corruption. The Buhari administration is also said to be hypocritical and selective in its anti corruption crusade. Many examples abound to lend credence these allegations against Mr. President. Buhari is equally lampooned by his traducers for apparently being sectional and nepotic for appointing mostly persons from his ethnic and cultural background into very important and strategic offices and positions in his government. This major default has been interpreted as disgusting corruption by some pundits.

For his part, the presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is widely believed to be stewing in gargantuan corruption, wheeling and dealing, even when he was the vice president of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007. Atiku was also a senior customs officer during which he allegedly became a multi millionaire. Even though he has been denying corruption allegations with every vehemence he could muster, the fact that Atiku and one of his wives were indicted by United States Congressional Report for money laundering has to a very large extent dented thenimage of the PDP presidential standard bearer. Today, his political opponents are taunting him to risk a visit to the United States and get arrested. Although his running mate, Mr. Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra state has effectively painted a picture of himself as a man of integrity, persons who know him very well say this is a mere facade. As a shrewd businessman, Obi was said to be smartly making billions of dollars for companies linked to him while he was holding a public office. From the foregoing, it is obvious that neither the ruling APC nor PDP and their presidential candidates have impeccable integrity to govern Nigeria again. On the contrary,  the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, retired General John Gbor and his running mate, Chief Jerry Chukwueke have the requisite qualifications, pedigree and integrity to give Nigeria quality leadership. General Dr. Gbor and Chief Chukwueke are well known intellectuals who are also decently involved in private enterprises before their recent keen interest to govern Nigeria. Both men are persistently saying that APGA's FIVE COVENANT WITH NIGERIANS would be implemented with honesty and vigour if elected into office. Everything about the APGA Covenant, revolve around the Restructuring of  the Nigerian federation. Restructuring anchored on true or fiscal federalism would undoubtedly reduce massive corruption in the country.

Irrespective of the fact that apart from the APC, PDP and APGA, there are other registered political parties in the country today, these other parties have not really made any reasonable impact in the Nigerian polity. Apart from decampees from the main stream parties most of these insignificant parties have never won elections at the ward, local government area, state and federal levels. This is not the case with the trio of APC, PDP and APGA. Presently, APGA has domineering presence in Anambra, Imo and Abia states in particular and the Southeast in general. The party would make a strong showing in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Lagos, Nasarawa and Zamfara in the forthcoming general polls. In fact, if not for the notorious "Nigerian factor" which places emphasis on ethnicity and deep pocket of politicians and political parties, most of the electorate in Nigeria would vote for APGA's presidential ticket of General John Gbor/Chief Jerry Chukwueke in the 2019 general elections, if not for any for any other reason but for the manifest sincerity of their noble plans to Restructure the Nigerian federation and the decency of the two gentlemen, unlike the holders of the PDP and APC Presidential tickets.
