The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA retired General John Gbor and his running mate, Chief Jerry Chukwueke have assured Nigerians of a prosperous and an egalitarian society if elected into office in the February 16, 2019 presidential election.

In their New year message Gbor and Chukwueke reiterated their determination to re-enact true federalism in Nigeria as stated in their FIVE COVENANTS WITH NIGERIANS.

The APGA standard bearers maintained that apart from facilitating political restructuring of the Nigerian federation for practice of true federalism , their FIVE COVENANTS include; security, economic reconstruction driven by the private sector in post oil setting as well as social agenda involving health care reform, education, social housing policy, youth, women and  empowerment of physically challenged persons with the intention to set up Youth Agency in the Presidency.

They pledged to reduce the cost of governance in the country in order to channel more resources to provision of functional social amenities for the welfare of the masses, adding that no efforts should be spared to quickly fight poverty in Nigeria.

General Gbor and Chief Chukwueke reminded the citizenry of the need for a paradigm shift in the political leadership of the country, pointing out that their presidency is the best option for the nation.

The duo emphasised that neither the All Progressives Congress, APC nor the Peoples Democratic Party, has the capacity to salvage the country from her present socioeconomic malaise insisting that the dramatis personae who brought Nigeria to her knees in the past nineteen years belong to the PDP and APC.

The APGA presidential hopeful noted that the party has in the past thirteen years demonstrated its people oriented disposition in the way and manner its governments have run the affairs of Anambra, which is presently widely adjudged as the safest and most investment friendly state in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
