DR. CHINEDU EMEKA MAKES A STRONG CASE FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF RIVERINE AREAS DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION.

(A strong case has been made to the federal government to urgently put machinery in motion for establishment of Riverine Areas Development Commission, RADC. 
(A former deputy governor of Anambra state, Chief Chinedu Emeka made this clarion while exchanging views with newsmen at the ongoing Anambra State Trade Fair in the commercial city of Onitsha.

(Chief Emeka explained that the commission would go a long way to quickly rise to the challenges of annual flood disaster in some parts of the country especially in riverine communities.
(He also said that the Riverine Areas Development Commission would be in vantage position to develop and enhance the tourist potentials of the concerned communities, pointing out that local government area in Anambra state such as Ayamelum, Anambra East and West, Onitsha North and South, Ogbaru and parts of Oyi would benefit socially and economically when the RADC is established by the federal government through the legislation of the National Assembly.

(Chief Emeka who is the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Anambra North District stressed the need for sustained and unpoliticised efforts towards urgent completion of the Second Niger Bridge and rescucitation of the River Port in Onitsha.

(The former deputy governor equally called on more indigenous and foreign investors to take full advantage of the business friendly environment created by the Obiano administration to bring additional investments into Anambra state.
