COACH BOSSO CALLS FOR SUPPORT AND FAIR OFFICIATING AHEAD OF EL KANEMI CLASH.

The Anambra Warriors are in high spirit ahead of their Match Day 13 clash against El Kanemi Warriors at the El Kanemi sports centre Maiduguri on Sunday in the ongoing NPFL season. The anticipated game will be the 7th meeting between both sides and for Coach Ladan Bosso, former U-20 national team coach, an emotional return to the City to play against a club he last handled before joining FC IfeanyiUbah.

The last visit on this ground saw the home side seeing off the Warriors two nil with goals from Chibuzor Okonkwo and Bello Koformata however tactician Bosso is optimistic of a good showing come Sunday.

Bosso while in an interview with Fcifeanyiubah.com called on fans of the Anambra Warriors to be calm ahead of the contest and should turn out in their numbers for this match.

"We want to first and foremost appreciate the management of El Kanemi for the warm reception we received on arrival in Maiduguri. We appeal to our fans and supporters to come out in their numbers on sunday to watch and support our team while exhibiting the spirit of sportsmanship and eschew any form of disturbance that can bring the game into disrepute," He said.

Bosso also called on the match officials to show high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties before, during and after the game.

"Its a game that we anticipate that will be intense for both sides. We hope that all variables involved in keeping to the laws of the game will do their work accordingly as records this season has shown that after Match Day 12, El Kanemi have seven goals at home to their credit and 4 of those goals are from penalties compared to our record of scoring nine goals so far with just a spotkick awarded to us against Abia Warriors which was eventually saved by the Keeper," Bosso stated.

FC IfeanyiUbah are occupying 13th spot on the NPFL log having amassed a total of 15 points while their host are currently 18th with 13 points.
