Commending Chief Anyaegbu for his decision to undertake the mission which he noted would have a tremendous effect on the health of his people, Gov Obiano said it was consistent with his administration's vision for the transformation of the state health sector.
He appealed to wealthy Ndi Anambra to emulate the philanthropic gesture of Chief Anyaegbu and utilize their wealth to impact positively on the lives of people, pointing out that government alone cannot effectively perform the task of developing the society.

Chief Anyaegbu in his remarks noted that the program was part of his own way of giving back to the society that made him. He said they decided to involve the State Government this time because of the genuine commitment Gov Obiano has shown towards improving the health of the people.
